Spring is right around the corner. I know what you're thinking, "but my Christmas Tree is still up."
I don't know about you but it feels like 2018 is flying by and by the time we know it, it'll be time to whip out the sandals and shorts. As much as "fun in the sun" sounds, we all have to face the dreaded and inevitable truth, SPRING CLEANING.
Before you run for the hills, moms and dads, why not put a twist and have some little hands join in on the fun? We all could use some help and this could be a great way to include the kiddos.
Below are 3 tips on how to make a dreaded task, a memorable one.
Cleaning the bathroom and clearing out the closets can be lonely. This doesn't have to be a solo mission. Assign specific tasks to each family member.
Don't micro manage
Who likes having their boss breathing down their neck? No one. Kids are the same! Allow some freedom in the process. It'll help with the overall experience and also teach your child independence.
Who likes to clean in a silent home? Not me! Turn on the tunes and make a reward plan. It's always nice to know you're working toward a goal. Maybe it's pizza or a trip to the movies. Music+Rewards=Happy campers
