Growing up, I have fond memories of making yummy meals and snacks with my Grandma Virginia. Whether it was apples with organic peanut butter or a fresh blended smoothie, she taught me how important it was to not only eat right but the importance of spending time with one another.
In this day and age, our days are packed with sports, meetings, church events, and everyday life. Naturally, it's so easy to just pack a sandwich, put it in their lunch box and send them off. But how awesome would it be to prep that lunch together? As a parent, it's so important to nurture that bond with your children.
The next meal you prep for your family or child, assign them a task. Whether it's mashing the potatoes or simply selecting the amount of turkey they want on their sandwich. You'll be amazed at how much your child is willing to be involved. Quality time is any amount of time you spend together :)
