Happy National Color Day! It is a day that spotlights the different ways colors can affect the way we feel and act every day. I have heard it said before that what you wear can help change the way you feel or even the way someone else feels about you. For example, red is a color of strength and confidence so if you want to be more relaxed and calm don't wear red! Wear Green! If you'd like to see more about what each color represents you can visit www.nationaldaycalendar.com or google it. (It is National Nut Day as well so you may need to scroll a little to find National Color Day).

Allow yourself to be more colorful and experience the fun and excitement with color filled activities with your children today. Color rainbows, play "I spy" using colors, and learn together. Even the store Michaels is celebrating this day with a FREE Coloring Time Event on Sunday, 10/25/2015 from 1pm-4pm. They provide the materials and you experience the fun! (Please call your local Michaels to confirm this event. This information is on their website, but events change from location to location. Thank you!)
